Nylong Primer for Footwear Shoes Materials

As an important surface treatment agent, the main function of nylon treatment primer is to improve the adhesion between nylon substrate and polyurethane adhesive or paint layer, thereby solving the problem that nylon material is easy to debond or has low adhesion after bonding.

The core component of nylon treatment agent is high molecular interfacial polymer, which is usually made of synthetic resin as the main raw material and prepared by a specific process. These high molecular polymers have a unique chemical structure, which contains functional groups that can be tightly bonded to nylon substrates and functional groups that can effectively bond to adhesive/paint coatings. This dual bonding ability enables nylon treatment agent to act as a bridge between nylon material and adhesive/paint, significantly improving interlayer adhesion in footwear shoes materials.

In terms of chemical composition, nylon treatment primer is usually a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid with good permeability and affinity. These characteristics enable nylon treatment agent to easily penetrate into the surface micropores of nylon material, effectively disrupting the molecular arrangement on its surface, thereby increasing the polarity of nylon surface. This treatment not only enhances the surface activity of the nylon material, but also promotes the intermolecular force between the adhesive/paint coating and the nylon substrate, allowing the adhesive/paint to adhere more firmly to the nylon material.

In actual shoemaking applications, nylon treatment agents are mainly used on nylon shoe materials. The high molecular polymers in the nylon treatment agent will quickly penetrate into the micropores of the nylon material and interact with the nylon molecules. At the same time, another part of the functional groups in the nylon treatment agent remain on the surface of the nylon material, ready to combine with the adhesive/paint to be applied to form a strong bond.
