Description
YINYANG PUDs for high grade wood coating are anionic waterborne polyurethane dispersions with clear film-forming properties, high hardness, high gloss, excellent flexibility, water resistance, and scratch resistance. YY-618U dries quickly and can form films at room temperature without the addition of film-forming additives. It is environmentally friendly and does not contain NMP or DMAC. It also has good compatibility with acrylic acid.
YINYANG high grade PUD for wood coating can be widely used in industries such as wood coatings, flooring, metal coating and so on. It can be used alone or mixed with other water-based polyurethane or acrylic emulsions (compatibility must be tested before use). Adding an appropriate amount of curing agent or silane coupling agent can moderately improve the chemical resistance and solvent resistance of the coating.
Main Functions
**High Abrasion and Scratch Resistance:
** The polyurethane coating is hard and tough, effectively resisting scratches and wear from daily use, making it especially suitable for frequently used woodwork (such as tabletops and floors).
**Excellent Water and Chemical Resistance:
** The coating film has strong resistance to water, oil, household chemicals, and industrial exhaust gases, and is not easily corroded or dissolved.
**Strong Adhesion:
** It can firmly adhere to wood, plywood, veneer, and even old painted surfaces, reducing the risk of peeling.
**Full and Glossy Coating:
** Provides a high-gloss or semi-matte effect, clearly showcasing the wood grain and enhancing the decorative aesthetics.
**Good Weather Resistance:
** Some formulations (especially aliphatic systems) have UV resistance and anti-yellowing capabilities, suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
**Mature Environmental Options:
** Water-based polyurethane wood coatings use water as a diluent, are non-toxic, low-odor, and free of benzene/toluene/free TDI, meeting environmental standards and suitable for household use.
