LOW SHEAR POLYURETHANE THICKENER

YT-12W is a non-ionic polyether polyurethane thickener that gives the system a strong pseudoplastic state; it is mainly suitable for the production of relief coatings and thick paste elastic coatings

1. High pseudoplasticity, which can significantly improve the high viscosity of the coating under low shear;

2. Good film-forming property, high gloss, better pseudoplasticity than cellulose and alkali swelling thickeners;

3. Excellent compatibility with a variety of water-based resin systems;

4. Performance is not affected by pH value.

1. Recommended dosage: 0.2-1.0% (total system amount);

2. The product can be diluted before adding;

3. This product should be added at the end of the coating production, slowly adding while stirring;

4. It can be used alone or with other types of thickeners.

Under low shear conditions, polyurethane thickeners mainly play a role in thickening and stabilization. It can increase the viscosity of the product, making it easier to operate and control. At the same time, it can also improve the stability of the product and prevent the product from stratification or precipitation during storage and use. Thickeners under this condition are particularly suitable for products that need to maintain a stable viscosity, such as coatings, adhesives, etc.
