YINYANG LOW SHEAR POLYURETHANE THICKENER
There are three different types of associative thickeners used in waterborne polyurethanes:
1. Low shear rate thickeners: The surface of waterborne polyurethane thickened with these associative thickeners has a weak pseudoplastic rheological behavior to have high thickening effect.
2. High shear rate thickeners: The rheological curve of waterborne polyurethane thickened with this thickener is actually Newtonian. This thickener works in the high shear rate range, with good flow and good leveling effect.
3. Medium shear rate thickeners, balance of low shear and high shear thickener, keeps good low and good thickening effect.
