YT-8W is a hydrophobically modified nonionic polyurethane associative thickener. It not only has excellent thickening effect, but also has good leveling and fluidity. It is widely used in various water-based systems such as latex paints and adhesives.

Application
YT-8W is widely used in various water-based systems such as latex paints and adhesives, especially various high- and medium-grade water-based architectural coatings for interior and exterior walls, water-based industrial paints (such as wood, furniture and metal paints), water-based inks, water-based adhesives and petrochemical water treatment systems.
In the design of water-based architectural and industrial latex paints, YT-8W is widely used in the formulation of interior and exterior walls from flat to high gloss due to its high thickening efficiency, good flow and leveling properties, excellent uniform film-forming properties, and gloss display performance. It is especially suitable for use as a synergistic thickener.
HZ-052 is a more efficient thickener, lower dosage with higher viscosity while keeps good flow.
